NASA’s latest Mars rover has arrived at the red planet. Its mission: to look for signs of ancient life. Onboard Perseverance is a suite of sophisticated scientific instruments designed to hunt for the signs of past life, including the ability to collect samples to be returned to Earth for study. The Mars 2020 mission will also start to investigate how humans might live there and get back to Earth. And in addition to the rover, the mission includes a helicopter called Ingenuity, which will attempt the first ever flight on another world. Science with Sam takes a closer look.
